The Opportunity
  
We are seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist to join our dynamic team at King Living. This role will be responsible for enhancing our master data governance, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across our global operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a deep understanding of SAP and a proven track record in master data management within a complex, multi-country environment


Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to enhance master data governance across all business units. 
  • Develop and enforce processes for data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. 
  • Establish and implement data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Enter and maintain critical master data in SAP, focusing on New Product introductions (NPI) and related tasks. 
  • Ensure timely, accurate entry and updates of product data in SAP systems. 
  • Validate data to align with company standards and policies.
  • Oversee master data migration and synchronization between SAP and other enterprise systems using ETL tools and middleware. 
  • Work with IT teams and external consultants to design and implement data mapping, validation, and transformation processes.
  • Perform routine data quality checks and correct inconsistencies. 
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure timely and accurate data entry. 
  • Develop training programs to educate staff on data governance and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improving master data processes and governance. 
  • Implement best practices in data management across systems. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline data flows and improve system integration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for master data queries and issues. 
  • Collaborate with teams like Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Manufacturing to support reliable data flow. 
  • Engage with global teams to address specific data governance needs.
  • Lead or participate in projects related to data governance, migration, and system integrations. 
  • Ensure master data initiatives align with business strategies and objectives.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification in data management is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in master data management, with a strong focus on data governance.
  • Proven experience working with SAP, specifically in an ERP environment.
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in a global or multi-country company, preferably in the retail or manufacturing sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP master data management modules and tools.
  • Strong understanding of data integration processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in data quality management and data cleansing techniques.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities to streamline data processes and improve data integrity and efficiency
