The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Art Director to lead and inspire our creative team in delivering innovative, customer-centric visual solutions. This role is pivotal in driving the visual identity of both the King Living and King Outlet brands, ensuring all creative outputs are consistent, aligned with brand guidelines and strategies, and meet commercial objectives.

The Art Director will collaborate closely with the marketing, digital, CRM and content teams to deliver impactful, engaging, and memorable brand experiences across all touchpoints.


The Role
  • Manage and mentor a team of 4 graphic designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Drive and evolve the visual identity of the King Living and King Outlet brands, ensuring it remains consistent across all channels and materials.
  • Develop design solutions that prioritise the customer experience, enhance engagement, and reflect the King Difference.
  • Oversee the development of all visual communications, including but not limited to campaign concepts and creative assets, product launch assets, showroom assets, point of sale, packaging, email and digital assets, ensuring all creative outputs align with marketing goals and delivers to commercial outcomes.
  • Work closely with marketing, digital, and content teams to translate strategic objectives into innovative and effective creative solutions.
  • Uphold and enhance the King Living brand's aesthetic and messaging across all visual platforms, including digital, print, in-store, and advertising.
  • Ensure all creative projects are delivered on time, within scope, while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring that King Living’s creative outputs remain fresh, innovative, and relevant.
  • Use data and customer insights to continually refine creative strategies and improve the effectiveness of visual communications.

About You
  • Proven experience as an Art Director in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Expertise in driving brand consistency and developing creative concepts that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative excellence across a variety of mediums, including digital, print, and experiential.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
  • Experience working in e-commerce, retail, or home furnishing industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell creative ideas and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for design, creativity, and innovation.

This role is based at our Design and Support Centre at Turrella. We have free staff parking available.
